Data scientists possess a compliment of skills from fields such as computer science, statistics, research methods, social science, political science, and many other content areas.
Data scientists who understand that their unique skills should be leveraged and joined with the expertise of others to address social challenges become “social trustees of knowledge” and pursue data science for social good projects.
